The State Chamber Announces New Chairman
Oklahoma City (July 5, 2022) -The State Chamber is proud to announce Bill Schonacher as its new Chairman of the Board. The President & CEO of IBC Bank Oklahoma is a long time State Chamber member, board member and supporter. Schonacher replaces Kristin Peck who had served as State Chamber Chair for the last two years.
Schonacher brings 30 years of business and leadership experience to The State Chamber.
“The goal of the State Chamber is simple: Make Oklahoma the best state for business, job creation and capital formation. We get there through a collaboration of members and staff focusing on advocacy, policy and politics,” said Schonacher. “We will aggressively pursue smart policy choices that reduce barriers to starting and growing a business. We will push for solutions in workforce development, taxation, and education so we can become a global competitor.”

Throughout his tenure with the Chamber, he has been thoroughly engaged in our community which has given him a broad perspective on issues facing our state,” said Chad Warmington, President and CEO of the State Chamber. “He is a man of action that is not afraid to take the bull by the horns and get things done. We are excited to have him as our Chair.”
Bill Schonacher was named the CEO of IBC Bank-Oklahoma in June 2014. He directs all aspects of the bank’s network, which includes 41 locations that serve 27 cities in 18 counties across the state of Oklahoma and North Texas.
