Allows the attorney general to bring antitrust actions against not only direct consumers, but also indirect consumers. HB 1415 also effectively extends the statue of limitations by allowing actions in aggregate to be considered as a single accrual. Both these changes increase a business’ risk of litigation.

The Insurance Consumers Protection Act creates a private right of action against insurance companies without any regard to the administrative processes in place at the Oklahoma Insurance Department.
