Oklahoma Chamber Blue
Small Business Health Insurance Plan Announced for 62 Oklahoma Counties - The State Chamber has announced the endorsement of a new healthcare insurance plan for businesses in rural Oklahoma. Oklahoma Chamber Blue, a health insurance product provided by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, is tailored for businesses with fewer than 100 employees that are incorporated in the 62 non-metro area counties in the state. The affordable plan benefits include: no medical underwriting; guaranteed issue; four plan options; drug benefits and nationwide coverage. Businesses located in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas already have had access over the past few years to a similar health insurance product called Chamber Choice. The Oklahoma Chamber Blue product can also take advantage of the Oklahoma Employer/Employee Partnership for Insurance Coverage (O-EPIC) program designed to subsidize small businesses (fewer than 25 employees) for insurance premiums for eligible employees. For more information, contact Travis Johnson (west side of Oklahoma) or Julie Rethmeyer (east side of Oklahoma), both of Blue Cross/Blue Shield. You may reach Travis at (405) 316-7032 or Julie at (918) 551-3366 or click here for more information.
